Some productions surprise you. We arrived at Dean Manor in Macedon to film a business coaching retreat and left with something far more valuable than footage.
The Level Up Formula retreat, run by Jim Cocks, brought together business owners and entrepreneurs for an immersive experience focused on growth, mindset and genuine transformation. Our job was to capture it all on camera. What actually happened went well beyond the brief.
The Brief
The production scope was clear — capture the retreat’s key moments, speaker presentations, participant interactions and authentic testimonials. We delivered 4K coverage across the full event, professional audio capture and a compelling promotional video that Jim and his team could use to showcase the Level Up Formula experience to future participants.
It’s the kind of corporate event production work we genuinely love. Real people, real breakthroughs, real stories — all unfolding in front of the lens.
The MasterMind Session
Here’s where it got special. Jim and the Level Up Formula team were kind enough to invite us back the following day to participate in their exclusive MasterMind session — not as filmmakers, but as participants.
What followed was one of those rare experiences that reminds you why surrounding yourself with the right people matters. We sat in a room with extraordinary business owners and entrepreneurs — people with genuine passion, unwavering drive and a real commitment to growth. The energy was exceptional and the conversations were the kind you think about long after you’ve left the room.
What This Kind of Work Means to Us
This is what we love most about event filming. It’s not just about cameras and lighting — although both matter enormously. It’s about being invited into authentic business communities, witnessing real moments of breakthrough and documenting the stories that actually mean something.
When you film a retreat like Level Up Formula, you’re not just producing content. You’re preserving an experience that changed people. That’s a privilege we don’t take lightly.
A huge thank you to Jim Cocks and everyone at Level Up Formula for the hospitality, the trust and for creating such a powerful and collaborative environment. We can’t wait to share the final content.
