At FanCast Productions, we’re lucky to work with some of Melbourne’s most vibrant businesses — and Manolo’s Tapas Bar in St. Kilda might just take the crown for one of the most flavour-packed shoots we’ve done this year.
From the moment we stepped inside, we knew Manolo’s wasn’t your average bar. Warm lighting, Spanish guitar floating through the air, and the rhythmic sound of cocktails being shaken behind the bar all gave the space a unique energy. This place has soul — and that’s exactly what we wanted to capture on camera.
Bringing Manolo’s Story to Life
Manolo’s is more than just food and drinks — although the sangria alone could absolutely be the star of its own feature. It’s about experience. When we spoke with the team, they told us their goal was to create a little slice of Spain right in the heart of St. Kilda. A space where people could relax, connect and enjoy authentic hospitality.
We built our shoot around two key themes: atmosphere and personality. One of our favourite moments was filming bartender Tommy crafting the perfect margarita. It wasn’t just the pour — it was the flair, the passion, and the cheeky smile he threw at the camera between lime squeezes. That moment sums up what Manolo’s is all about.
